ir. Henk Olie (1956 – 2024)

Met diepe droefheid delen wij het nieuws dat onze gewaardeerde collega en vriend, Henk Olie, afgelopen week is overleden. Sinds 1980 was Henk een onmisbare kracht bij r+k en bij de ontwikkeling de Ple4Win software.

Wij zullen ons Henk herinneren om zijn bevlogenheid, zijn kenmerkende humor en zijn toewijding aan ons bedrijf. Henk was een stabiele kracht binnen ons team en een hartelijke collega. Zijn creativiteit, zijn kennis van softwareontwikkeling, in het bijzonder van onze Ple4Win software, en de professionele wijze waarop hij met onze klanten omging maakten hem geliefd en gewaardeerd.

We zijn dankbaar voor de jarenlange samenwerking, collegialiteit en vriendschap. Henks bijdrage heeft een onuitwisbare impact op ons bedrijf gehad en zijn werk zal blijven voortleven. Het is op het fundament dat hij heeft helpen leggen dat wij zullen blijven bouwen aan de toekomst.

Onze gedachten gaan uit naar zijn familie en vrienden in deze moeilijke tijd. Henk zal gemist worden.

We are glad to be able to announce that we have become a part of the BT Engineering Group, together with BT Geoconsult and Expert Design Systems. Through this we ensure our continuity and still maintain our independence.

Moreover, we can now offer you a wider scope of engineering services. In addition this union does enlarge our engineering capacity and flexibility. The rich history of r+k Consulting Engineers and our specialism will be preserved.

ir. Gerard Kruisman (1936 – 2018)

Met veel verdriet maken wij bekend dat op woensdag, 12 september 2018 ir. Gerard Kruisman is overleden, de oprichter van r+k Consulting Engineers, onze inspirator en motivator.

Gerard Kruisman, civiel ingenieur, Ridder in de Orde van Oranje-Nassau, is rustig ingeslapen na een periode van afnemende gezondheid. Hij is 82 jaar oud geworden.

Hij was tot het laatst actief betrokken bij ons bedrijf. Wij van r+k Consulting Engineers zullen zijn unieke stijl van leiden, zijn visies en ideeën missen.

Wij gaan vol vertrouwen het werk voortzetten dat hij opgestart heeft. Hij zal door zijn collegae zeer gemist worden.

It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of the death of the founder of r+k Consulting Engineers, our inspirator and motivator, Gerard Kruisman MSc on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.

Gerard Kruisman, Master of Civil Engineering, Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau, passed away peacefully in his sleep after a period of illness. He was 82 years old.

Up until very recently, he was actively participating with our company. We at r+k Consulting Engineers will miss his unique way of leadership, his visions and ideas.

We have full confidence to continue the work he once started. He will be severely missed by his colleagues.

Restoring website after hack

This website and our other website Ple4Win have been hacked recently. Our apologies for that.

We are in the process of restoring both websites. While this is happening, some parts of the website such as the forum can be offline. Please be patient, we will restore functionality as soon as possible.

As the websites are hosted separately and no personal information is asked or stored (even the e-mail addresses for download are not retained) there has been no data breach, no personal identification information could have been obtained by the hackers.

New director for r+k

Starting December 1, 2017, Marco Lammers is the new director of r+k Consulting Engineers. This was officially announced on February 13, 2018, during the r+k dag 2018.

The previous director Rien Radder and the company founder Gerard Kruisman are still active in the background as expert support for the company.

r+k dag 2018

Op dinsdag 13 februari 2018 heeft in het Veur theater in Leidschendam de r+k dag 2018 plaats gevonden. Het was een goed bezochte, interessante meeting waarbij naast het elkaar zien en spreken twee belangrijke gebeurtenissen plaatsvonden:

• de aankondiging dat sinds eind 2017 Marco Lammers de nieuwe directeur is van r+k,
• een lezing van auteur en journalist Frank Westerman over zijn recente boek ‘In het land van de ja-knikkers’.

We held a meeting for customers and relations of our company on February 13, 2018, at the Veur theatre in Leidschendam. It was an interesting meeting with lots of good conversations. Two events stood out that day:

• the announcement that since the end of 2017 Marco Lammers is the new director of r+k,
• a lecture by author and journalist Frank Westerman about his recent book “In het land van de ja-knikkers” (In the land of the Yea-sayer’s).
